Alex Rider:Scorpia Rising by Anthony Horowitz

This book is another adevnturies action-pack chapter fuffils the potential of how great the Alex Rider series which is one of my favorite series that i enjoyed reading. Alex is recruited one last time to MI6 and its very end! He visited Cairo but Scorpia waited for him all along where this was officially pre-planned. They planned to inflict him alot of pain and this is where the action goes thorughout the book in boling point. Of course this would lead to deaths and one of the main character died battling Scropia!! At the very end of the book it would seem pretty complex that Alex finially get to use a gun for the first time for protecting himself in the near future! This book is a very succesful book. I like it and no dobt it brings more humour to the Alex Rider series. I cant wait to read Ark Angel to see what happens next to Alex... as the series continues!!

GooseBumps: Say Cheese and Die again! by R.L Stine

This is another freeky, spooky and scary chapter in the goosebump modern day series. Each GooseBump book that i have come across with freaks me ot espicially when i read it at night and this book produce non less intense storyline!! Mr. Saur, Greg's "Sourball" teacher didn't believe Greg's terrifying story about the evil camera he found last summer. In order for Greg to get an "A", he needs to prove his story is true. This book is very spooky but i liked the mysterious plot of how a camera can kill many people just with on flash each. In some part the storyline is hard to understand in a few chapters but averagely its a good ghost story book!

Stormbreaker

Alex Rider is a fourteen year old boy, he has a normal life but when his guardian dies his world turns upside down. for being a normal school boy he turns into a super spy, as he is recruited by force to join the MI6, he is trained in the SAS and is given spy gear to protect himself, so far i have gotten to how his guardian had died and how he was forced to become a secret agent the story is like a different version of James Bond.
This is a really good book i suggest some people should give it a try.

Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

This book by Susanna Clarke is written about the early 1800's, where there is a magician called Mr. Gilbert Norrell, who is supposed to be the last strong magician for 100 years. He uses this magic agains Napoleon's French forces in the war to bring back the dead and terrify the French army. However, another magician emerges, a novice, Jonathan Strange. He is the complete opposite of Norrell, and on the French side of the army, and the two magicians break into a fight.
This book has a nice storyline to it, although I wouldn't recommend anyone our age read it because it is very long and I found myself getting distracted easily. On the other hand, it has good writing structure and style, and I think for older audiences it might be very good.

Rangers Apprentice: The Burning Bridge

This is the secong book in the Ranger's Apprentice series by John Flanagan, which starts follows Will, Gilan and Horace who are going to a Celtic group of town, just outside King Duncan's land, but when they get there, the land is completely barren, apart from a few bandits. Gilan decides to inform King Duncan on this as soon as possible, so leaves them to follow him with the packhorse, and their new friend, Evanlyn.

I think this book is another brilliant work by John Flanagan, and I love how he uses different techniques to make the story come alive, more so than many books I've read. I was told about the series by a friend, but I was sceptical until I read it, and now I definitely recommend you read this, if you're in for a quick adventurous book.
