the five people you meet in heaven

in this book, a person called Eddie who works at Ruby Pier (an amusement park) died in an accident. One of the rides in the amusement park broke down and Eddie ran in trying to save a little girl. after the accident, Eddie finds himself in a teacup (it's one of the rides in the amusement park). He was still in the amusement park, but some things were different. the sky kept changing color and Ruby Pier wasn't like the one that he saw when he was old, it was like the one that used to look like when Eddie was young, about 5 or 6 years old. Then he realizes that he was in heaven. While he's in heaven, he will meet the five people that changed his life forever, some of them were loved and precious ones but some of them were distant strangers. They will help him to realize his mistakes when he was still alive and will help him to figure out things that he hasn't realized yet.

this was an amazing book. in my opinion this is the best book i've read so far. this author is amazing and his books are really good.

The Last Vampire

Black Blood is a book about a vampire who has lived for five thousand years. She feels stalked and later finds out someone wants her dead. She tries to get back at the man stalking her but finds it very hard because like her he is not very normal. She finds some new friends who are willing to help her out. And kills the people who get in her way. This book is hard to put down because every page is packed with excitement. It is filled with love, suspence and much more. It is very descriptive and interesting to read. The author uses a cliffhanger at the end which makes you read on to the next book. It is very good and I would definately recomend this book.

Girl 16: Absolute Torture

The book 'Girl 16: Absolute torture is a great book . The author Sue Limb is a fantastic writer as she writes her books in a lot of detail making the reader intrigued. This book consists of 224 entertaining pages I personally feel that everyone from ages 9-18 will really enjoy this book. It took me 6 days to read it and I never got bored of it. It has comedy, romance and is an action packed book. Basically the book is about a girl who’s life is miserable because of her parents divorce, without any siblings to comfort her she feels lonely and left out. When her father moves to England her mother decides it is best for her to visit her father. When she arrives in England she is confused when she finds out her father is in a relationship and he is getting married, but to who??? If you read this book you will be able to solve the puzzle to who her father is engaged to and how this affects her life. You will be hooked to this book like I was, so READ IT!!!

I greatly enjoyed reading this book as it leaves things up to the imagination and makes you want to try to figure out what will happen next. I would definately recomende this book!

Noughts and Crosses

This book is a novel by Malorie Blackamn, it is set in a world where the Crosses (black people) are dominant over the noughts (white people). Two citizens - Sephy (a Cross) and Callum (a nought) start of as friends (maybe more than friends) because of their parents connections but then end up forbidden to see one another. Callum's family hates the Crosses whilst Sephy's depises the noughts. Not carring about his family's opinion he and many other noughts try to enter a Cross schools all over the country - and succeed, however, others (Crosses) don't approve of this which then leads to fights, arguements,... How will they overcome this?

This novel is compared to Shakespeares' 'Romeo and Juliet' - the two leads , Callum and Sephy, shouldn't be in love as they are of a different skin colour, similar to the way Romeo and Juliet belogn to two feuding households.
I really enjoyed reading this novel and would recommend this book to you. It has adventure, romance and much more.

The Dragon Reborn - The Wheel of Time

This is the third book in The Wheel of Time, where Rand al'Thor, recently named the Dragon Reborn, begins the book in a Shienaran camp, but secretly sneaks away, headed for Tear. Moraine, Loial, Lan and Perin follow him through villages and small towns, while he makes haste. Meanwhile, Nynaeve, Elayne and Egwene are in Tar Valon, when the Amyrlin Seat tells them of the fabled Black Ajah, which was indeed a real Ajah, serving for the Shai'tan. Nynaeve and Egwene are sent to follow them, and head to Tear, unaware of Rand heading there too.
As this was going on, Matrim escapes from Tar Vaon with the help of Nynaeve's letter, and begins heading for Andor, as the only way he got the letter was to convince Elayne he would take a letter from her to her mother, Queen Morgase. On the way, he meets up with Thom and they travel together to Andor. Mat finds out that a man close to Morgase was planning to kill Elayne, and pursues them to Tear, where all the main characters meet up again (Apart from Min, who hadn't had much to do with this book so far)

I think this book is another great story Robert Jordan wrote, with a great mix of all genres and in every few chapters, he surprises the reader with another unexpected turnout. It is a touching story and because the book is so long and expressive, it brings the reader closer to the characters.

Eyes of the Storm

Lucius, Smiley and Phoney Bone set off back for the Barrelhaven, but a fierce storm begins, and the wagon is ambushed by Rat Creatures (if you don't know, I should've told you about them previously). Smiley Bone leads a charge to safety, but sends the wagon and its passengers over a cliff and into a river. At the farm house, Thorn and Fone Bone shelter from the rain in a barn and discuss each other's dreams, and in particular why Gran'ma Ben lied to Thorn about her past and Dragons. Suddenly, Fone Bone and Thorn find Gran'ma listing in on their conversation. She then runs simply runs into the woods.

The Great Cow Race

The direct sequel to Out from Boneville, Fone Bone has fallen for Thorn, a girl who lives in the town, revealed to be named Barrelhaven, and is being driven all over by jealousy when Thorn begins flirting with a boy named Tom. Meanwhile, Smiley and Phoney is deciding to open a small business for the upcoming annual The Great Cow race, in which Thorn's strangely strong Gran'ma Ben always wins, Smiley does it for enthusiasm while Phoney decides to scam people by convincing them to bet on the mysterious cow, which is really the duo in a cowsuit, and plans to purposely lose. Plans change when Lucius, Gran'ma Ben's love interest bets his entire tavern for her, with 100-1 odds.

Out from Boneville

Neh, the Bones were just simply 3 cousins who left their town after Phoney's Phoncipal mayor campaign went awry, so when they stumbles upon a mysterious little town in the middle of nowhere (trust me), Fone Bone, the most mature and main character of the three, decides to remain there until the end of winter before returning back to Boneville, but they end up staying longer than they ever expected...

Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets

This novel on Harry Potter is one of the most excited mysterious chapter in the entire series as Harry helds on his second year and Hogwarts with even more challenges that he have to face. In the first 2 chapters, Harry Potter found himself in a bad situation where he was banned from going back to Hogwarts by his uncle. Harry was helped by the weasly family where he manages to escape and continue his second year at Hogwart. Throughout this chapter Harry Potter have experienced many new things at hogwarts; the education, the quiditch games and the most mysterious thing he had aventually spoken to snakes!!! This is where the chamber of secrets comes in to play!! There was a mysterious Hogwart student who opened the Chamber. There were many stuents endangered by being attack and been froze by this monster where Hogwarts have a highly chance of ending if this continues. Harry found a mysterious diary from a guy named Tom Riddle. He was a Hogwart student 50 years ago where the chamber o secrets was opened. With desire Harry continues to search who's after all of this before he found out that Ron's sister Ginny was the person who opened the chamber by orders of the diary. Harry continue his quest by actually going into the chamber and battle the giant snake monster from Sytherin. He also found out that Tom Riddle is the young side of Voldemort. Its an awesome and enjoyable book to read!!

Diary Of The Wimpy Kid

A book full of laughter and it will be great to read in the weekend. Greg Heffley is a kid in middle school who have many things to hide. All those things is now being written into his diary/journal. He writes about how wierd he think his friends are, how stupid are his teachers and how much he hate his life. He does all these stupid things which he finds correct but at the end he finally realise what he did was stupid.

But its still a great book and im looking forward to read the next book in the series.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

This was given to me on the 26th of February (Saturday) as a gift from a friend. It was written by my favourite author, Jules Verne and is 236 pages long so I was able to finish it on Sunday. It is a really brilliant book because it is thrilling and adventurous. For example, I think the squid battle was described well to discomfort the reader with bloody descriptions and graphic like vocabulary. I find it quite creative to have a submarine with a spear at the front ramming into ships (I may use this idea one day...). I also like the sense of emotion is this book, with Captain Nemo being heart-broken about his missing family. To conclude, I find this book amazing due to its good setting, very descriptive text and all around awesomeness. I definitely recommend this book if you like bloody squids and super powerful submarines.

In this book the twins are awakened which is to unlock all the senses that has been kept locked inside every human. Zelah Green Who says I'm a freak?

Zelah Green is a cleanaholic. Her mother died when she was 9 and her father dissappered a few weeks ago. So now Zelahs stuck with her stepmother, who dispieses her and can't handel her little 'problem'. Therefore, Zelahs stepmother sends Zelah to a home for troubled teenagers and at first, Zelah thinks it sucks. She misses her best friend, Fran, and she misses her dad. However, after 2 weeks, Zelah starts to realize that everything isn't what she thought it was and that her illness is not part of her; that she could actually get rid of it. But is that what she wants? And where is dad?

I enjoyed reading this book because it's different from anything that I've ever read before. The story is interesting and it captures my attention as secrets unfold and truths are reveiled. However, the ending wasn't very good, as it ended with questions unanswered and it made me wonder what would happen to Zelah. I found this fustrating as I wanted to know what happened next.

Airhead - Meg Cabot

This is one of the strangest book I've ever read. Although i did enjoy reading it, this book talks about a girl who had her a 'brain transplant' and then turned into somebody else. It was very interesting to read because I've never read a type of book that is similar to this one. Before I've read this book I think it would just talk about a girl having trouble with her life and tries to resolve her problem, but this story is completely different from what I would be expecting.
More details about the story: This girl called Em Watts, one day she got hit by a plasma TV at this opening event and then a month later she found herself awake in another person's body. She freaked out. So, she is trying to find out what happen while she was unconscious. Throughout the book it'll show you bizarre things that you won't be expecting.
Although I enjoy most of this books, some chapters of the book drags out for too long so it gets boring sometimes but most of it is fairly good and well-written. If you're looking for a novel that is extraordinary I think you should read this one.

Blue Bloods - Melissa de la Cruz - 336 pages.

this book is about vampires. it's interesting because throughout the book they have only mentioned the word 'vampire's 3 times! (not including the blurb) i counted. it's actually because they use the word 'blue blood' instead of 'vampire' which i think is more effective because it is like a new species that i am keen to find out about. when you hear the word vampire the thought people usually think first is Twilight or Bloodsucker. i also personally like the book because the vampires that they mention and describe are different, and i like it more.
in this book, the vampires have blue blood instead of red and their blood have a mind of it's own and usually start to show and come out when you are 15, so it doesn't show at birth. it creates an incarnate pattern on the surface of our skin, usually on the hands. also here, the vampires are reborn. they are immortal, yes, but they have cycles. their human physical shell dies like a normal person, but their soul, in which this case is their blood is kept and (i dont know how) kept for the next cycle. there are vampires that choose to keep their physical shell forever.
the history of how they became a vampire is that they fell from heaven and are forced to live on earth forever as a vampire or 'vam-py-re'.

the story sets in Manhattan, New york. Schuyler Van Alen has never fit in to the exclusive school she goes to. her father died when she was young and her mother has been stuck in a coma shortly after giving birth to her until now, so she has no choice but to live with her grandma in their family mansion. the Van Alen used to be one of the most powerful family in New York. now there are only her and her grandma left...
Schuyler finds out she is a blue blood. they are known to be the city's most powerful and immortal people, like the major and senator. but they're being murdered. and now she is determined to find who is behind it and how she's going to defeat it before it kills more.

Septimus Heap Magyk Book 1 by Angie Sage

This book is a fiction book based on fantasy, I really think this book is really good because there is adventure in it as well. This book is all about Wizardry and mainly about Silas and Sarah Heap's family. Sarah and Silas believes that their son Septimus Heap died when he was born. At the same night Silas found a baby girl left in the forest woods. Now in 10 years later, The ExtraOrdinary Wizard, Marcia Overstrand, revealed their baby girl, Jenna Heap's identity. Saying that their daughter is the daughter of the dead queen. An spy has discovored that Jenna's presence, living with the Heaps all along. Marcia took Jenna with her to the wizard tower to hide her from the assasin, the hunter and the apprentice since they are all after the princess. On the way to the wizard tower, they found Boy 412 (A member on the Young Army) lying on the ground freezing cold so they took him with them. Then later on Silas discovered that boy 412 is Septimus Heap. His seventh son who they thought was dead. If your looking for a fiction book filled with fantasy and adventure, this is the book your looking for. In my opinion i like this book because this book is my type.
