Noughts and Crosses

This book is a novel by Malorie Blackamn, it is set in a world where the Crosses (black people) are dominant over the noughts (white people). Two citizens - Sephy (a Cross) and Callum (a nought) start of as friends (maybe more than friends) because of their parents connections but then end up forbidden to see one another. Callum's family hates the Crosses whilst Sephy's depises the noughts. Not carring about his family's opinion he and many other noughts try to enter a Cross schools all over the country - and succeed, however, others (Crosses) don't approve of this which then leads to fights, arguements,... How will they overcome this?

This novel is compared to Shakespeares' 'Romeo and Juliet' - the two leads , Callum and Sephy, shouldn't be in love as they are of a different skin colour, similar to the way Romeo and Juliet belogn to two feuding households.
I really enjoyed reading this novel and would recommend this book to you. It has adventure, romance and much more.
